The Marble Hatchet only grows to an inch and it is not quite as hardy as the silver hatchet, but this is a great aquarium fish. These fish stay near the surface of the aquarium and are truly shaped like little hatchets. The body has a black marbled pattern and Hatchetfish can jump so we recommend a cover on the fish tank.
Hatchet fish are peaceful and may be kept with nano tank species.
